I have been wanting to do this for a while.
I would have waited until Springtime but this morning
myself and the boys were chatting about flamingos
(as you do when you hang out with 4 year olds)
and we were talking about how they are coloured pink when
I remembered this experiment and so of course we had to try it out.
As this was a spontaneous middle of Winter experiment
we were extremely lucky to find these little white flowers
hiding in a corner of the garden.
What we used
A jug of water
Little white flowers
What we did
I had a look around the house and found some containers to use as vases for the flowers.
I poured some colour into the lid and the boys poured the colour into the little vases and then they added water.
Spills were inevitable.
Next they put a flower in each vase and then we put them in the window.
Stay tuned to see what happens….
