We have been making these bird feeders for as long as I can remember.
They are easy for little children to make and they are a lovely gift for the birds in this freezing weather.
We hang them from a tree in the back garden and we have a little family of robins that really appreciate them.
What we use
What we do
Lay out the ingredients on separate plates.
Wrap a pipe cleaner around the top of the cone to use as a hanger.
Spread the peanut butter all around the cone using the back of a spoon.
Roll the pine cone around in the raisins and then in the seeds.
Now you are ready to hang your bird feeder and do a spot of bird watching.
